Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for SAIB Online Banking are as follows:

Customers holding a Current/ Savings Account

·            All Individual Accounts where the Account Holding Pattern is “Single” & having an active Debit Card will be entitled to view their existing relationships & transact over SAIB Online Banking.

·            All Individual Accounts where the Account Holding Pattern is “Joint” & having an active Debit Card will be entitled to only view their existing relationships over SAIB Online Banking. No transactions will be permitted online where the Account Holding Pattern is “Joint”.

Customers holding a Credit Card

·            All primary credit card holders will be entitled to view their existing relationships & transact over SAIB Online Banking.

Customers holding a loan account

·            All loan accounts holders will be entitled to view their existing relationships & transact over SAIB Online Banking.

Customers holding an overdraft account

·            All Overdraft accounts holder will be entitled to view their existing relationships & transact over SAIB Online Banking.

 

Retail Services

The new SAIB E-Banking offers you easier and quicker access to a range of banking services and online products. Services available include: 

 

Customer Information Update: enables the Customer to send a request to update his/her profile information (like address, phone, etc.) effected according to Terms and Conditions.

 

تحديث بيانات العميل: يمكن للعميل تقديم طلب تحديث بعض البيانات مثل (التليفون،العنوان وغيره)، ويتم وفقاً للشروط والأحكام.

Currency Exchange Rates: display currency exchange rates against Egyptian Pound.

عرض أسعار تحويل العملات: عرض أسعار العملات الأجنبية مقابل الجنيه المصرى.

Credit Card Details: show the details of the chosen credit card.

Credit Card Transaction Details:

§   Display the details of credit  card transactions.

§   Extract card’s transaction in the form of “web page, pdf, and excel” files formats.

Cheque Status: Display the status of customer’s issued cheques by using the cheque Number.

Account Details: show the details of accounts) current, saving, overdraft) deposits, loans.

 

تفاصيل الحساب: عرض تفاصيل الحسابات )الجارية، التوفير، جارى مدين) ، الودائع والقروض.

Account List: retrieve a list of all accounts, cards, and loans as following:

 

§   Accounts summary for current/savings/term deposit accounts.

§   Cards summary for credit or prepaid cards.

§   Loan accounts summary for auto, personal and home finance accounts.

 

قائمة حسابات العميل: عرض قائمة عامة بحسابات و بطاقات و قروض العميل  مكونة من:

§          عرض  للحسابات (الجارية ، التوفير ، الودائع)

§          عرض للبطاقات الائتمانية للعميل.

§          عرض لقروض العميل (سيارة، شخصى، تمويل عقارى).

Account Detailed Statement: customer can  review his transactions on his current and/or saving accounts by using the following filters:

  • By date (to choose date ranges)
  • by amount between min and max (can be optionally added to previous filter),
  • by transaction type,
  • Transactions per page,
  • Extract account’s transactions in the form of web page, pdf, or excel sheet,
  • Account statement should display transactions including deposits, withdrawals and issued cheques.

كشف حساب العميل: امكانية عرض حركات الحساب باستخدام خاصية الانتقاء في الآتي:

§          فى فترة زمنية معينة،

§          فى حدود قيمة معينة (ما بين قيمتين مع امكانية دمجها مع الفترة الزمنية المنتقاة)،

Portfolio:

§   Display the customer’s portfolio (including current, savings, loan accounts, cards and investments).

§   Accounts will be categorized by type.

§   Portfolio will be displayed in EGP or USD.

المحفظة:

§          يمكن للعميل عرض كافة الحسابات (جارى، توفير، قروض، بطاقات  وإستثمارات).

§          يتم تصنيف الحساب وترتيبه وفقا لنوعه.

§          يمكن عرض المحفظة بالجنيه المصرى أو الدولار الأمريكى.

 

 

Mini Account Statement: display the customer’s last 7 days transactions for a chosen account, with an option to download a file in the form of web page, pdf, or excel sheet.

كشف حساب مختصر: عرض عمليات حساب محدد فى أخر سبعة أيام مع إمكانية استخراج ملف بتلك العمليات فى صورة (Excel, pdf, or web page).

 

Loan Account Statements: display loan balances for a chosen loan, with an option to download a file in the form of web page, pdf, or excel sheet.

 

حركة حساب القرض: عرض عمليات حساب القرض المختار مع امكانية استخراج ملف بتلك العمليات فى صورة (Excel, pdf, or web page).

 

Loan Payment Schedule: display loan installments (due) schedule with an option to download a file in the form of web page, pdf, or excel sheet.

 

جدول سداد أقساط القرض: عرض تفصيلى لجدول سداد القرض مع امكانية استخراج ملف بتلك البيانات فى صورة (Excel, pdf, or web page).

 

Secured e-mail service: enables the customer to send complaints, inquiries and/ or suggestions through the internet banking service. Communicating while receiving responses from the customer service personnel through reliable and secured method of communication.

 

خدمة البريد الإلكترونى الأمن: يمكن للعميل إرسال شكاوى، إستفسارات و(أو)اقتراحات للبنك من خلال خدمة الانترنت البنكى، مع إمكانية اتصاله وتلقى إجابات موظفى خدمة العملاء عبر وسيلة اتصال أمنة وفعالة.

 

 

 

What is Internet Banking? 

Internet Banking is a web application that allows you to enquire about your accounts/credit cards, etc. and/or download statements of your several accounts that are eligible to be used within our services.

How do I enroll in Internet Banking?

·         You can go to the nearest branch and fill in the application form for the internet banking. And you need to have a valid mobile number & E-mail address.

What do I need to log-in to Internet Banking?

You must:

·         Have your user id & password

·         Your valid mobile number

·         Have a machine (PC) with Internet access via a browser

·         For the web browser you must have cookies enabled

Can I access Internet Banking from anywhere?

Internet Banking may not be accessible or have limited abilities over some wireless networks especially when outside the country (i.e. while roaming).  The availability, timeliness and functionality of Internet Banking will depend upon the location, wireless network availability and signal strength, plus the configuration of hardware, software and the wireless device.

Is Internet Banking secure?

Text Banking Security

Each text message request authenticates separately by checking that the mobile number of the device used to send the request corresponds to the device number registered for the user initiating the transaction.

Account values used by text commands are the account nicknames used within Internet Banking or masked account numbers.  They do not contain any unmasked account numbers.

Web Browser Security

Mobile Web Browser Banking (XHTML) uses the same security infrastructure as Internet Banking including:

·         HTTPS encryption with 256-bit AES public key encryption certificates for all traffic between the mobile device and the internet.

·         Connection via secured-socket layer (SSL)

·         No data or application pages are stored on the mobile device with each page being retrieved on-demand.

·         Authentication is session-based using a Mobile Login; customer credentials and One time password used for Internet Banking to authenticate the user for the duration of the browsing session.

·         Mobile Password 4-Strike Lockout.  You can unlock yourself by changing your Password within Internet Banking.

What can I do to keep my information safe when I use Internet Banking?

For your security, you should:

·         Delete all text messages from your mobile phone after viewing

·         Keep your mobile device’s operating system up-to-date

            *For assistance, please contact the merchant where you purchased the mobile device or your mobile carrier.

·         Install anti-malware software for Internet browsing on your PC

·         Click on the LOGOUT button after each Internet Web Browser Banking session

·         Use the mobile device’s Passcode/Password Screen Lock functionality, if available.

·         Create a password for your PC

·         If using a smart phone, install an app that wipes your data remotely in case the device is lost or stolen.

·         Do not allow your web browser to remember login credentials.

What should I do if I lose my phone?

As soon as you are aware that your phone is lost you should go to the nearest branch and report the theft of your mobile phone contact our customer care center on 16668 for immediate assistance.

Can you have multiple mobile telephone numbers assigned to one internet banking account?

No.  You can only assign one mobile phone to each internet banking account.

What happens if I change my phone number?

If you switch to a new mobile number, you have to go to one of our branches for updating your mobile phone.

How can I cancel my Internet Banking service?

To cancel your Internet banking service you need to go to your branch and apply for deactivating your account.

The new saib Online Banking services offers you a wide range of value added functions & services across products while enhancing the security levels.

This requires our saib bank existing customers to pay a visit to one of our branches to fulfill the internet banking application & sign the required documents.

We have tested SAIB Online Banking on a number of hardware/ operating systems/ browsers and the following are recommended:

·                     Windows: 32 bit or 64 bit, 1.6 Ghz processor minimum, 512 MB RAM minimum

·                     Macintosh: 1.83 GHz Intel processor minimum, 512 MB RAM

·         An internet connection (Recommended – ISDN connection; Minimum modem speed of 56 kbps or higher)
